It goes without saying that we are absolutely and completely committed to the protection and wellbeing of all our students. As parents you are entrusting the online safety of your children to us while we conduct tuition, so we want to ensure we take all possible steps to safeguard them during that time.
PureMaths operate under the following policies and procedures to maximise child safety:
We will need to communicate directly with clients, outside of online tuition sessions, via Email or messaging services (SMS or Whatsapp) from time to time to arrange and coordinate lessons. All such communication will be done directly with parents. If a parent grants permission to directly communicate with students, this will only be done with the involvement of at least 1 of the parents - i.e. cc’d on emails or in a Whatsapp group involving the parent(s).
All invitations for Zoom or Skype tuition sessions will be sent by email link to student and at least 1 parent.
All Zoom and Skype tuition sessions will be password protected and only the student(s) invited to the lesson and PureMaths tutor will have safe access to it.
All tutors we use will have valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and certificates. These can be requested and viewed by parents at anytime.
